Bollywood star Sonakshi Sinha on Monday evening got into a public spat with veteran actor Mukesh Khanna. The Dabangg actress did not hesitate and has called out the Shaktiman star Mukesh Khanna on his distasteful comments on Shatrughan Sinha. Mukesh Khanna, recently questioned Sonakshi Sinha’s upbringing because of an old incident when Sonakshi failed to answer a question related to Ramayana. Reacting to the same, Sonakshi penned a huge note on social media wherein she mentioned that he needs to stop bringing out this same issue time and again, just to come in the news. Hours after Sonakshi came out with her public post, an old interview of father Shatrughan Sinha is doing rounds on the internet where Shatrughan is clearly pointing out at Khanna for unnecessarily calling out her daughter’s mistake.

Shatrughan Sinha Defends Daughter Sonakshi Sinha
Shatrughan Sinha in an old interaction with Bollywood Hungama, said, ”I believe someone has problem with Sonakshi not answering a question on the Ramayana. Firstly what qualifies this person to be an expert on all things to do with the Ramayan? And who has appointed him the guardian of the Hindu religion?” Though Sinha did not directly take Mukesh Khana’s name, his statements came just days after Mukesh Khanna slammed Sonakshi Sinha for the first time on failing to answer the question related to the epic tale.
Shatrughan in his daughter’s defense also claimed that he is very proud to have a daughter like Sonakshi. “Sonakshi became a star on her own. I never had to launch her career. Not answering a question on the Ramayana doesn’t disqualify Sonakshi from being a good Hindu. She doesn’t need a certificate of approval from anyone.”
This comment from Shatrughan had sparked huge controversies back in the past years, and now once again as Sonakshi chose to come out on her own, to end this verbal fight with Khanna, this befitting response from father Sinha has once again showed up into the headlines. Sonakshi Sinha made it very clear in her penned message that how well her father has incorporated values in her and it is because of those value that she is still addressing the issue with utmost respect.
