Shatrughan Sinha has confirmed there were initial tensions within his family regarding Sonakshi Sinha’s marriage to Zaheer Iqbal. However, the veteran actor clarified that all issues have been resolved, and everything is now harmonious. Additionally, Shatrughan clarified that June 23 is not the wedding date for Sonakshi; rather, it is scheduled for her reception, contrary to some reports.
Shatrughan Sinha revealed to Times Now, “It is the wedding reception that we are all attending on the evening of June 23.” He added, “No one from my family said anything about a wedding. Some media outlets have just been presuming things. Too much attention is being given to something that is a private family matter.”
Talking about the pre-wedding conflict the veteran said, “Shadiyan sab ke ghar hoti hain. Pre-wedding conflicts are also common. We are all okay now. Whatever the stress has been sorted,”. He then added, “Koi wand nahi hai. Yeh sab hota hi hai har shaadi main. Just because she is Shatrughan Sinha’s daughter, it doesn’t mean Sonakshi can’t have what she wants in life. Hum log bohot maza karenge June 23 ko.”
Talking about Sonakshi and Zaheer’s wedding reception, the guest list includes Salman Khan, Honey Singh, the cast of Heeramandi, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Daisy Shah, Poonam Dhillon, and others.
