Bollywood actors are slowly and gradually getting inclined towards the web-series. Knowing about the demand for digital content, many talented actors like Saif Ali Khan, Pankaj Tripathi, Naseeruddin Shah, Karisma Kapoor and others have already made their digital debut. And the latest name to join the bandwagon is Shahid Kapoor.
Shahid is currently shooting for a web-series directed by Raj and DK. It’s the same duo that created the popular web-series The Family Man. After watching their work, Shahid wanted to work with them. He said in an interview, “I couldn’t think of anyone better for my digital debut than them. Amazon Prime Video is a fabulous service and it’s a privilege to work with them. I loved the story idea when I first heard it and since then it has been an exciting ride so far! Can’t wait to share this series with the audience.”
Even Raj and DK think that Shahid is perfect for their new web-series. They said in a statement, “We found a perfect match in Shahid. He was always our first choice for this series. We hit it off immediately, and have been on the same page from the first time we spoke. Shahid is an exciting actor to watch and work with! The intensity he brings to his roles is amazing.”
The web-series will be released on Amazon Prime Video. Though not many details are out about the project, we do know that it is going to be an amazing watch.
