Controversies about the long-living feud between Salman Khan and Lawrence Bishnoi has continued since long. Upon the recent death of the ex-NCP leader Baba Siddique, the terror of the Bishnoi community with open threats to Salman Khan had once again headlined the news. Amid the continuous arrests and threat warnings occuring alongside, bollywood actor Salman Khan’s father, Salim Khan has clearly denied all the allegations on his son. He stated that this has been the matter of money extortion since day 1 and not about the killing of an animal.
Filmwriter Salim Khan spoke to ABP Live when he revealed that he does not feel that his son should apologise to any community or in any temple of Rajasthan because doing so will mean that he has committed a sin, but he has never done anything like that. “Never in life has Salman Khan killed an animal. I, his father, have always looked down while walking out to ensure that no cockroaches or ants come beneath my footsteps during the rainy season. We have never used a gun in our life, neither has Salman”, he added.
Salim Khan also highlighted that Salman had run ‘Being Human’, a non-profitable organisation wherein he has helped more than 300-400 people daily, and there is no reason to accuse him for killing a blackbuck.
Talking further, Salim Khan lashes out at Lawrence Bishnoi on his demands of Salman’s apolgy to him. He questioned the gangster’s integrity with questions like, “How many times have you apologised to the people you have caused a problem? How many animals’ lives have you you ever saved? Why would Salman apologise and to whom?” As an angry father, the veteran writer mentioned on how difficult has it become to survive, and how there are restrictions on his freedom. Police officials have provided tight security to the Khan family after Baba Siddique’s murder and also after the actor received a fresh threat from Lawrence Bishnoi demanding Rs.5 crores.
