On his 39th birthday, Ranveer Singh is being celebrated not only by colleagues and fans worldwide but also in Hollywood. In a recent Marvel India interview, Ryan Reynolds praised Ranveer for his humor and likened his physique to that of Hugh Jackman, known for his role as Wolverine.
When asked which Bollywood actor he would like to collaborate with, Ryan responded, “I don’t even know. Oh…Ranveer Singh is amazing. He has done the voice of Deadpool I think. He is very funny. But also ripped.”
Facing Hugh, Ryan asked Hugh, “You think you are in shape?” To this he replied, “Really!” Ryan said, “This guy (Ranveer Singh) makes you look like a ‘Crypt-Keeper’. He is amazing.”
Conversely, Hugh Jackman complimented Indian cricket team captain Rohit Sharma, expressing his love for cricket and mentioning Rohit as his favorite player from the Indian team when asked. “Right now, Rohit. Come on. You just took the cup home. I’m glad,”
For those who may not know, Ranveer lent his voice to the Hindi version of Deadpool 2. In addition to Ranveer, many other Indian actors have a history of collaboration with Marvel. Varun Dhawan voiced Captain America in Captain America: Civil War, Tiger Shroff provided the voice for Peter Parker in Spider-Man: Homecoming, and Rana Daggubati dubbed for the antagonist Thanos in the Telugu version of Avengers: Infinity War.
