Radhika Apte is pregnant and she surprised everyone with her baby bump reveal at the prestigious BFI London Film Festival. The actress, who married British musician Benedict Taylor in 2012, is expecting her first child. At the event, Radhika attended the screening of her movie Sister Midnight and fans were thrilled to see her proudly flaunting her baby bump.
Radhika Apte stunned in a sleek black off-shoulder bodycon midi-dress that perfectly highlighted her baby bump. She completed the look with a neat bun and bold red lipstick, letting her glow speak for itself. Sharing photos from the event on social media, Radhika captioned them simply with, “SISTER MIDNIGHT UK Premier #lff2024,” letting the images do the talking. The pictures show her posing solo as well as with the cast and crew of the film on the red carpet.
Once the news broke, fans and the entertainment industry was quick to celebrate. Radhika and Benedict Taylor have been together since 2011 when they met in London during Radhika’s sabbatical to learn contemporary dance. They had a registered marriage in 2012 and later held an official ceremony in March 2013. The couple has always kept their personal life low-key, but fans are delighted to hear they are about to become parents.
On the work front, Radhika Apte recently had a cameo in Merry Christmas alongside Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi. She is also set to star in the upcoming revenge thriller series Akka, alongside Keerthy Suresh. Meanwhile, her latest film Sister Midnight is a genre-bending comedy directed by Karan Kandhari. The movie premiered at the Cannes Film Festival earlier this year.
