Panga starring Kangana Ranaut released last Friday. The film has received good reviews from the critics and the audience seems to have enjoyed this sports drama. Along with Kangana, the Fukrey fame actress Richa Chadha also earned praises for the incredible role of supportive friend to Jaya (Kangana Ranaut) in the film.
When Richa was asked about what urged her to choose a film like Panga, she said that her reason to be a part of this film was the director Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari’s style of working. Richa further added, “I thoroughly enjoyed my role. It was different from the recent roles I had done and I really liked the story and wanted to be a part of it.”
Richa also opened up about working with Kangana, she said, “Our synergy as actors worked well on-screen. We had a good time and it is not necessary that you make friends on all sets. At the end of the day, we are all here to give in our best.”
The Gangs of Wasseypur actress also confessed, “It is not necessary that your wavelengths and thoughts match with everyone, but I am happy that man and everyone is entitled to their opinion, but on sets we are professionals.”
Richa Chadha is the kind of actor who takes up a challenging role. Be it Panga, Fukrey Series even with Gangs Of Wasseypur or even Section 375 she has done justice to all these unconventional roles.
On the work front, Richa Chadha will be next seen in Shakeela: Biopic alongside Pankaj Tripathi. The release date of this film is not yet announced.
