Bollywood megastar, Shah Rukh Khan made his long-awaited comeback in the year 2023, with Siddharth Anand’s film, “Pathaan”, following the massive box office success of the film SRK then starred in Atlee’s superhit film, “Jawan”, and Rajkumar Hirani’s film, “Dunki”. After giving back-to-back box office hits in 2023, Bollywood actor SRK is reportedly taking a 2-year long break for his upcoming film, “King”.
For those unaware, it is reported that Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has signed up for Sujoy Ghosh’s upcoming film, “King”. According to reports, the Pathaan actor is currently busy with the shooting of the film. Additionally, the film is a special project for the actor and his fans as for the first time ever, the Bollywood superstar will be sharing the screen with his daughter, Suhana Khan who will also play a lead role in the film.
Shah Rukh Khan To Take A 2-Year Break?
After the major box office success of Pathaan, Jawan, and Dunki in 2023, Shah Rukh Khan has no projects for 2024. There won’t be any “Shah Rukh Khan starrer” films releasing in 2024. However, while fans were anticipating Shah Rukh Khan’s comeback in 2025, a new report has unfortunately dashed the hopes of the actor’s fans.
As per a Reddit post, Shah Rukh Khan has no projects scheduled for release in 2024 and 2025. The post revealed that the actor is taking a 2-year long break as he is currently gearing up and working on his upcoming film, “King” with Suhana Khan.
Furthermore, in June pictures of SRK were leaked from Spain. Reportedly, the actor landed in Spain to shoot for his film, “King”. However, there was no official confirmation about the same.
About SRK’s Film “King”
Reports suggest that King will see Shah Rukh Khan return to his iconic don role. This film will also feature his daughter, Suhana Khan, in her theatrical debut, following her role in The Archies on Netflix. Suhana will collaborate with her father for the first time. The film is co-produced by Shah Rukh’s Red Chillies Entertainment and Siddharth Anand’s Marflix Pictures.
