Munjya Box Office Verdict: Sharvari Wagh-Abhay Verma’s Film “Hit Or Flop”?

MunjyaBoxOffice: Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, the much-awaited Bollywood comedy horror film, Munjya was finally released in the theatres on 7 June. Starring Sharvari Wagh and Abhay Verma the film opened up to positive reviews. Now that the film has finished its first week in theaters, it’s time to determine whether the film is a box office success or failure.

Munjya Box Office Collection Day 7

As per Sacnilk, the film earned a solid ₹ 4 Cr on its first day at the box office. Following its decent opening, the film registered “massive” growth during the weekend, earning ₹ 7.25 Cr on Saturday and ₹ 8 Cr on Sunday.

However, after a successful weekend, the film registered a huge drop on Monday earning ₹ 4 Cr. Despite the massive fall the film kept a steady pace at the box office earning ₹ 4.15 Cr on Tuesday, ₹ 4 Cr on Wednesday and ₹ 3.9 Cr on Thursday. With this the Bollywood horror comedy, Munjya now stands at a total box office collection of ₹ 35.3 Cr.

Munjya Hit Or Flop?

Munjya has received glowing reviews, leading to a strong opening at the box office. Despite a slight decline after the weekend, the film successfully passed the Monday test and maintained a steady pace throughout the week. Within just one week of release, Munjya surpassed the 35 Cr mark domestically. It is reportedly giving tough competition to Kartik Aaryan’s Chandu Champion. With its promising performance, Munjya is poised for further growth in the upcoming weekends and can easily be considered a box office “HIT“.
