Mr. And Mrs. Mahi Box Office Verdict: Sports Drama “Hit Or Flop”?

Mr.AndMrs.MahiBoxOffice: Directed by Sharan Sharma the much-anticipated Bollywood sports romantic drama, “Mr And Mrs Mahi” was finally released in the theatres on 31 May 2024. Starring Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor the film opened up to positive reviews and a strong opening at the box office. Now that the film has almost finished its first week in theaters, it’s time to determine whether the film is a box office success or failure.

Mr. And Mrs. Mahi Box Office Collection Day 6

As per Sacnilk, Rajkummar Rao, and Janhvi Kapoor starrer Bollywood sports drama, “Mr. And Mrs. Mahi” earned a solid ₹ 6.75 Cr on its opening day. However, after registering a decent opening the film witnessed a slight drop during the weekend, earning ₹ 4.6 Cr on Saturday and ₹ 5.5 Cr on Sunday.

The sports drama dropped even further during the weekdays earning ₹ 2.15 Cr on Monday, ₹ 1.85 Cr on Tuesday, and approx. ₹ 1.85 Cr on Wednesday. Made on an estimated budget of ₹40 crores, the Bollywood sports drama now stands at a domestic total of approx. ₹ 22.7 Cr. The film has yet to cover its production cost at the box office.

Mr. And Mrs. Mahi Hit Or Flop?

“Mr. And Mrs. Mahi” started with a solid opening of ₹6.75 Cr but witnessed a gradual decline in box office collections thereafter. Despite earning approximately ₹22.7 Cr domestically against an estimated budget of ₹40 crores, the film has not yet covered its production costs. Considering these numbers, the film is struggling financially and could be considered a box office “flop”.
