Reacting to this actors Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor addressed the matter. Meanwhile reacting to the same actor and supermodel Milind Soman recently shared his response on the matter and wrote, “Trolls can’t stop a good film.”
Milind Soman Reacts To Boycott Trends On Laal Singh Chaddha
On Tuesday, actor, and supermodel Milind Soman took to his Twitter account to share his reaction to the viral Boycott trend against Aamir Khan’s upcoming film ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’. Milind tweeted, “Trolls can’t stop a good film.”
Meanwhile, several tweets have been making rounds on the internet in which netizens are criticizing actor Aamir Khan for copying the Hollywood film Forrest Gump, in which Tom Hanks played the lead role. Apart from this, people allege that Aamir Khan has made many such statements in the past, which are against Indian civilization and culture. Moreover, the old statement of Aamir Khan’s ex-wife Kiran Rao is also being opposed once again.
Recently in an interview actor Aamir Khan responded to the trends and said, “Yes, I feel sad. Also, I feel sad that some of the people who are saying this, in their hearts, they believe that I am someone who doesn’t like India. In their hearts, they believe, but it is untrue. It is rather unfortunate that some people feel that way. That’s not the case. Please don’t boycott my film. Please watch my film.”
Apart from Aamir actress Kareena also responded to the trend in a conversation with India Today, she said “Of course, because the accessibility is there today. Everyone has a voice today. There are different platforms. Everyone has an opinion. So now, if that is going to be there, then you have to learn to ignore certain things. Otherwise, it will just become impossible to live your life. And that’s why I don’t take any of this like seriously.”
She further added, “I just post whatever I want to post. I am like ‘It’s a film and it’s going to release and everyone will have their opinion.’ So that’s it. If it’s a good film, I believe that it will surpass anything, pretty much, the response will be good. I think that good films will surpass anything,”.
Meanwhile, an old video of Kareena Kapoor is going viral on social media. In the video, Kareena can be seen talking about nepotism in an interview. However, she gets upset and say “don’t watch out movies, nobody has forced you.” She then say ‘aap aarhe hon aa movie dekhne mat aao.”
Laal Singh Chaddha stars Aamir Khan, and Kareena Kapoor in the lead, it also stars Mona Singh and Naga Chaitanya in key roles. The film is helmed by Advait Chandan and produced by Aamir Khan Productions, Viacom18 Studios, and Paramount Pictures. Laal Singh Chaddha will lock horns with Akshay Kumar’s Raksha Bandhan on 11th August.
