Reports indicate that Anil Arora tragically took his own life by jumping from the sixth floor of his residence on Wednesday morning. As per reports, Malaika Arora was reportedly in Pune, when her father passed away in the tragic event. As soon as the news reached her the actress returned back to her mother’s house. Several videos of Malaika Arora and her sister, Amrita arriving at their mother Joyce Polycarp’s house are going viral.
In the videos shared, Malaika and Amrita Arora were clearly distressed, visibly shaken, and deeply traumatized by the loss of their father. Many netizens expressed outrage towards paparazzi for capturing such distressing moments on camera. In addition to the netizens, now Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan has also came out and slammed the paps for being too “insensitive”.
Varun took to his Instagram Stories to criticize and reprimand the paparazzi for their lack of sensitivity in covering the tragic event. Admonishing the paps, Varun wrote, “It is the most insensitive thing to point cameras in the face of people who are grieving. Please think what you people are doing or what someone is going through when you do this. I understand it is work, but sometimes another human might not be okay with this.”
Apart from Varun, many netizens also slammed the paps. A user wrote, “How disrespectful of the media to gather outside like this. Utterly heartbreaking news for the family, you should give them the space and privacy that their family requires. Shame on you all where is your sense of humanity.”

Malaika’s mother, Joyce, told the police that Anil had a routine of reading the newspaper on the balcony. When she found his slippers in the living room but couldn’t locate him, she looked over the edge and saw the building’s watchman shouting for help. Joyce revealed that despite their divorce, she and Anil had been living together recently and that he had only been dealing with knee pain, not any serious illness.
