Kill Trailer: Lakshya-Raghav Juyal in Karan Johar’s Brutal Action Thriller

KillTrailer: Based on the trailer, Nikhil Nagesh Bhat’s crime thriller promises to be a desi take on Train to Busan. In his debut role, Lakshya plays a ruthless murderer, causing chaos on a regular Indian passenger train.

The trailer begins with Lakshya celebrating his fourth wedding anniversary with his wife Tanya Maniktala at their home in Mumbai. This proves to be the sole joyful, serene moment in the entire trailer. As they board a train headed to an unspecified destination, a gang of hooligans led by Raghav Juyal storms their compartment and attacks them. The trailer shows a group of thugs dragging an injured Tanya away, leaving a bloody handprint on the glass door.

Lakshya then goes on a rampage, eliminating the goons one by one. The violence extends into the lobby and the cramped restroom. He utilizes his attackers’ knives, an oxygen cylinder, and even fire as his weapons. At one point, he drives a knife into a man’s eyes, and by the end of the trailer, he sets another man’s head on fire. As Lakshya transforms into a killing machine, his fellow passengers, along with his attackers—including Raghav—are shocked by his brutality. While it’s unclear where Lakshya acquired these skills, there are brief hints of a defense background.

About Kill

Co-produced by Dharma Productions, Kill premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival, earning praise for its intense action. Starring debutant Lakshya, Raghav Juyal, Ashish Vidyarthi, and Harsh Chhaya, the film is set to release on July 4.
