Kartik Aaryan Finally Breaks Silence On His Fallout With Karan Johar

Kartik Aaryan finally addressed his exit from Dostana 2, a project under Karan Johar’s production. Initially set to co-star with Janhvi Kapoor, Kartik’s departure from the film was announced in 2021. Subsequently, Dharma Productions issued an official statement declaring their intention to recast Dostana 2.

In a conversation with Lallantop, Kartik said, “Dekhiye, woh boht purani baat ho gayi. Kai bar bahut miscommunication hota hai aur kai bar bahot cheezein out of proportion bhi chali jati hai aur sepcifically jab voh likha jata hai to voh sound kuch aur karta hai.” (This news is somewhat outdated now. Kartik revealed that he has always preferred to maintain silence and that will remain the same. He added, “Main tab bhi silent tha and ab bhi silent hoon un baaton pe. Main bas 100 pratishat kam karta huin, lekin jab bhi aise koi khabar aati hai ya koi controversy aa jati hai to main apne shell mein rehta huin, main shant rehta huin. Main un cheezon mein zyada ghusta hoon, aur naa kuch prove karne se mujhe kuch milta hai.”

Kartik Aaryan reportedly had a fallout with Karan Johar after being removed from ‘Dostana 2,’ where he was paired with Janhvi Kapoor. Dharma Productions maintained a ‘dignified silence’ regarding the issue. Media reports indicated Kartik’s removal due to alleged unprofessional behavior and an altercation with Janhvi Kapoor, leading to a strained relationship between them.
