Koffee With Karan: After a series of much controversial and intriguing episodes, Karan Johar’s chat show Koffee With Karan has wrapped up the 7th season with Kusha Kapila, Tanmay Bhatt, Danish Sait, and Niharika NM in its finale episode. While during the latest episode of the show, filmmaker Karan Johar was asked by the jury members on why Taapsee Pannu wasn’t featured on his chat show.
Why Taapsee Pannu Wasn’t Featured On Koffee With Karan
The finale episode of Koffee With Karan featured famous social media influencers including Kusha Kapila, Tanmay Bhatt, Niharika NM, and Danish Sait on the couch. However, the finale episode had a little twist as this time the show host Karan Johar was the one who was questioned by the guests.
During their conversation with the filmmaker, Kusha Kapila asked Karan, “A lot of actors who’ve had critical successes over the last two years have not been called on Koffee With Karan yet. One of whom is Taapsee Pannu. Is there some sort of vetting process?”
To this Karan said, “It’s 12 episodes, you’ve got to choose combinations that add up. Just to tell Taapsee that when I will request and ask her to come on the show, where we can work out an exciting combination. And she declines me, I’ll be sad.”
Taapsee Pannu On Why She Won’t Appear At KWK
For the unversed, the Dobaaraa actress earlier stated that her s*x life isn’t interesting enough to appear on Karan Johar’s chat show Koffee With Karan. During an Instagram live with Stutee Ghosh of Fever 104, Taapsee expressed her views about Karan Johar’s show, she further stated how the show has now become a validation for actors.
Taapsee said, “it is just a chat show hosted by Karan Johar,” she added, “I have a boring life, what will you ask me? Which linkups, which relationships? All exciting part of my life is out in open. But that’s not exciting enough to be spoken on that kind of show. It can be spoken about on a news talent show.”
