Kalki2898AD: Nag Ashwin’s much-awaited and highly-anticipated epic dystopian science fiction action film, “Kalki 2898 AD” was finally released in the theatres today on 27 June. Reports indicate that the film is set in a dystopian future in the year 2898 AD. The movie features Supreme Yaskin (Kamal Haasan) ruling a harsh world, taking fetuses from pregnant women to make a life-extending serum. Sumathi, known as SUM-80 (Deepika Padukone), is pregnant and will give birth to Kalki. Bhairava (Prabhas), a bounty hunter, chases her to gain rewards, while Ashwatthama (Amitabh Bachchan), a powerful warrior, protects her. Their story unfolds in the dangerous world of Kalki 2898 AD.
