Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan are again in the headlines, this time not for their relationship rumors but for Imtiaz Ali’s next venture “Love Aaj Kal 2”. This will be for the first time that Sara and Kartik will share the big screen, and their fans are eager to witness this fresh pairing.
Earlier today, Sara Ali Khan took on her Instagram and shared the official first look poster of “Love Aaj Kal 2” with her fans and followers. In this post, Kedarnath sweetheart also announced the release of her movie’s trailer, and it will be out tomorrow (January 17).
Sara captioned this picture, “Meet Veer and Zoe Come get wound up in our whirlwind wonderland #LoveAajKal Trailer Out Tomorrow.”
Kartik too shared the same poster and accompanied it with an amazing caption.
In the first look poster, we can see 1990 written along with the word ‘Kal’, and ‘Aaj’ written besides 2020. From this subtle hint, we can guess that “Love Aaj Kal 2” will follow the same path as the 2009 Deepika-Saif starter “Love Aaj Kal” did. This film will also be comparing relationships in today’s time with that of the past.
Back in July 2019 when director Imtiaz Ali shared a throwback picture of the 2009 “Love Aaj Kal” poster, he wrote in the caption, “In these ten years after Love Aaj Kal, I see that the process of a love relationship has changed dramatically. The way young people think of relationships now, I could not have predicted ten years back. It’s fascinating and very inspiring.”
After reading these thoughts of the iconic director, it will be interesting to see his take on the current relationship scenario, and the way he will narrate it in “Love Aaj Kal 2”. This film is slated to release on Valentine’s Day this year.
