At the International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA) 2024 press conference held in Mumbai, a heartwarming moment between South star Rana Daggubati and Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan quickly went viral. During the press event, which was attended by several notable names like Karan Johar, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Abhishek Banerjee, Rana Daggubati’s gesture towards SRK left fans touched.
When called on stage, Rana Daggubati hugged Shah Rukh Khan and then proceeded to touch the feet of both SRK and Karan Johar as a sign of respect. His humble gesture had the audience and celebrities moved. Rana explained, “We are fully South Indian. That’s how we do it!” Shah Rukh Khan responded by giving Rana a kiss, appreciating the sweet moment.

The IIFA 2024 event will be held at Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, from September 27 to 29, where Shah Rukh Khan will return as host alongside Karan Johar, while Rana Daggubati will host IIFA Utsavam for the South industry.
