Anupam Kher surprised his fans by selling tickets of recent film Shiv Shastri Balboa at PVR ticket window. While doing so, the veteran actor interacted with fans and the staff and learned how bookings in the multiplex like Inox and PVR work.
When asked why he decided to try surprising fans at the counter, he replied, “anything is dignified as long as it is done with joy and happiness. I just wanted to share my joy and here I am”. During his interaction with his fans he also shared how ticket selling used to be back in his theatre days.
Speaking about the film, the actor revealed, “Shiv Shastri Balboa is a sweet movie about the lovely bond between him and Neena Gupta’s character throughout the film, and everyone should watch the movie with their loved ones”.
Released on February 10, Shiv Shastri Balboa is a story of boxing coach who has moved to USA to spend some time with his son and grandson but he befriends another Indian (Neena Gupta), and they go on an unexpected road trip that teaches him a new meaning of life.
Directed by Ajay Venugopalan, the film also stars Jugal Hansraj, Nargis Fakri and Sharib Hashmi in pivotal roles.
