With the ageless charm that he carries, Actor Anil Kapoor is set to make his debut in the YRF Spy Universe alongside Alia Bhatt, Salman Khan, Shahrukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan. The 67-year-old, hugely known for his charisma, has reportedly, joined Aditya Chopra’s Spy Universe signing a multi-film deal. He will soon be seen in approaching movies like War 2, Alpha, and Pathaan 2.
Aditya Chopra initiated YRF’s Spy Universe a decade ago, and since then, it has become the biggest IP in Indian cinema. Now, he has made Anil Kapoor join his team, making the upcoming movie plots more provocative by his presence. The evergreen actor who is currently hosting the Bigg Boss OTT Season 3, was impressed by Aditya’s idea of the films. Without ado, he signed this multi-film contract with three films in the series. Reportedly, he will play the role of Head of the R&AW. Anil Kapoor’s first project will be War 2, featuring Hrithik Roshan, Jr. NTR, and Kiara Advani.
Talking about the releases, War 2 tends to be the next upcoming sequel by Ayan Mukerji. The sequel will arrive on August 15, 2025. Following this, Kapoor will also be a part of the first female-led film of the Spy universe – Alpha. Sources also say that other films like Pathaan 2, and the highly anticipated Shahrukh-Salman starrer “Tiger vs Pathaan” are still under development. However, Anil will have a constant appearance in all of them.
This makes YRF Spy Universe’s films the most awaited project for fans. Soon, the most captivating heroes of Bollywood will be setting the stage ablaze together.
