Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra, and Katrina Kaif, renowned actresses in India with numerous blockbuster hits, were slated to unite for ‘Jee Le Zaraa’, directed by Farhan Akhtar. Despite being announced in 2021, the film’s current status remains undisclosed. During an interview with Showsha, Alia addressed the delay in Farhan Akhtar’s directorial, discussing the project’s progress.
Talking about the film’s delay Alia said, “So, the intention is to make it happen, but like I said, sometimes there is a time and place for everything, and you just have to wait for the right time to come together. But, I think the intention in everybody’s heart is to make sure that this film to hit the big screen. Someday or the other, we just need to figure out the timing.”
Currently Alia is gearing up for her upcoming film, Jigra which will also star The Archies actor Vedang Raina. During her conversation with the portal, Alia revealed that she will play the role of Vedang’s sister in Jigra. Talking about the same, she said, “Vedang is just sublime. He plays my brother in the film. I am not going to say much about the relationship we share in the film, but I can definitely say that we had a very seamless, easy-going work relationship.”
Apart from her involvement in “Jigra,” Alia is preparing for an adrenaline-fueled spy thriller under the Yash Raj Films banner. This unnamed project will place her among the dynamic spies of YRF. Additionally, she is set to commence filming for “Love & War” alongside Sanjay Leela Bhansali, reuniting with her husband Ranbir Kapoor and her “Raazi” co-star Vicky Kaushal.
