Ajay Devgn & Hrithik Roshan Ask COVID-19 Survivors To Donate Blood

Ajay Devgn and Hrithik Roshan have stepped forward to encourage the patients who have recovered from COVID-19 to help other COVID-19 infected people. Read below to know more.

The outrage of Coronavirus has created a stir among citizens around the world. Both government bodies and organizations have been trying to make people aware of the virus and the precautionary steps to avoid infection. The B-town stars are doing their bit by spreading awareness about the virus and are also urging people to stay indoors and practice social distancing while in public spaces.

The Bollywood stars are not only spreading awareness but also are donating and providing funds to various NGOs and various relief funds and medication kits to the medical teams. Meanwhile, Hrithik Roshan and Ajay Devgn have stepped forward to encourage the patients who have recovered from COVID-19 to help other COVID-19 infected people.

Both of Bollywood superstars have urged the COVID-19 survivors to donate blood. Ajay Devgn tweeted, “If you’ve recovered from COVID19, you are a Corona warrior. We need an army of such warriors to overcome this invisible enemy. Your blood contains the bullets that can kill the virus. Please donate your blood, so others, especially the serious ones can recover. Sign up now.”

Showing his support to the initiative, Hrithik tweeted with a note that read, “Mumbai’s Kasturba Hospital is on a mission that needs the support of all those who have successfully recovered from the Coronavirus. If you have surpassed the 14 day quarantine after testing positive, and after the last negative result, your blood contains cells that can kill the virus. If you donate your blood others can recover too, especially those who are serious. Please sign up now to donate your blood and save lives.  Talking about Singham actor, Ajay Devgn donated whopping Rs.51 lakhs towards the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE).

Director Rohit Shetty has also donated Rs.15 lakh for the cause. Actor Salman Khan also reached out to the FWICE for the account details of 25,000 daily wagers to transfer money into their accounts in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic.

Hrithik Roshan has also donated N95 masks and FFP3 for the BMC workers and other caretakers. The Krishh actor also stepped forward to offer support to the paps that are from a lower-middle-class background.
