Actor Anupam Kher humorously shares how his car was stolen while praying at a temple, with the police finding it hilarious.

The veteran bollywood actor nupam Kher, recently shared a funny but unfortunate story about a time when his car was stolen. During a podcast with Shubhankar Mishra, Kher talked about the tough financial struggles he faced in the early 2000s. Even though he was successful in the film industry, actor Anupam Kher almost went bankrupt in 2003-2004 when he tried to expand his work into television.

Hoping for some luck, Kher decided to visit the Mahalakshmi temple, a place he used to go to as a struggling actor. While recalling this incident, Kher said that he was almost about to lose both his house and office during that time. He drove himself to the temple, left the car running and got out to pray. To his shock, a thief quickly jumped into his car and drove off.

Kher tried to chase the thief by getting into an auto-rickshaw but they couldn’t catch him. So, he went to the police station to report the theft. When he told the police how it happened, they couldn’t stop laughing. It seemed like something that would only happen in a movie.

Despite the tough time, Kher shared this story with humour, showing how he managed to stay positive through challenges. Today, actor Anupam Kher continues to do well in his career, which spans several decades. He will soon be seen in Kangana Ranaut’s upcoming movie Emergency, where he plays the role of Jayaprakash Narayan. Fans are eagerly waiting for the film’s release date to be announced.
