Ananya Panday’s ‘CTRL’ Opens To Bad Reviews: Hails The Actress But Dissapointed By Storyline

No doubt Ananya Panday’s last release, Call Me Bae, turned out to be a superficially beautiful movie engaging fans in the best possible way. But, this one time – the Netflix release ‘CTRL’ by Ananya Panday has fallen flat on the OTT Screens. As per the reviews from the fans and movie critics so far, the Vikramaditya film turned out to be a huge disappointment for fans. From critics calling Ananya Panday as the most clueless social-media influencer, to terming Vikramaditya Motwane’s film as a waste attempt on AI-themed thriller – CTRL did open to bad reviews right from the day of its release.

From imdB to fans reviews, every user has taken to their social medias to express disappointment on the film. Based on the response and reviews swirling on the internet, it is evident that the actress is still loved for the acting skills and efforts made by her indiivdually to make the film work – however the plot of the story and the screenplay just doesn’t promise to keep the audience connected.

Even though the movie critics have chosen to give the Ananya Panday starrer a big ‘No’, the reviews on X do not assent to it. A bunch of mixed X reviews have come up discussing about how the digital platform is proving to be a lucky one for Ananya, but also agreeing to Motwane’s silly attempt to make it an exotic thriller.

The twitteratis called it a “must-watch” film, especially for the Gen-Z. A tweet on the platform read, “And there she comes to shock everyone from her phenomenal acting. Several fans in their tweets mentioned that the story did not have a gripping end, which is why it almost was disliked by a lot of movie goers and critics. CTRL Twitter reviews speak of the clarity that the idea was good but the director Vikramaditya failed to execute it well on-stage.
