Zinedine Zidane reveals he is not worried about Eden Hazard’s form after he missed open goal

Zinedine Zidane admitted that he is not concerned about Eden Hazard's form after he missed an open goal in Madrid's 1-0 win at Galatasaray.

After Eden Hazard who missed an open goal against Galatasaray on Tuesday evening, his manager Zinedine Zidane expressed no qualms over the same, infact he insited he is not worried about the Belgian’s form.

Eden who was brought for £150million from Chelsea has managed to score just one goal in all competitions. The pressure on Eden is immense due to the Champions League, while the Spanish newspaper is calling him out for his underperformance as he failed to impress and now adding a  guilt-edged opportunity to his goal tally.

Zidane said, “It doesn’t worry me. He’s better and he’s going to improve more. The important thing is that he continues to have chances because he’s going to put them in.” And as it’s known, fans are not looking for any sort of comfort, the Madrid boss also revealed that he is delighted with the overall result in  Istanbul, where a goal by Toni Kroos lifted Madrid off the bottom in Group A and put them in second place after Paris Saint-Germain.

Zidane further stated that he knows it’s important to win when one plays every three days but admits that they were focused right from the off. He revealed that they created a lot of chances after some really good moves and he would have liked to have seen Madrid get a second and even a third because that would have meant that the opposition would have eased off in terms of their pressing. He also further stated, “We worked hard and were strong and that’s what got us the win.”
