Last week, viewers saw the contestants of Sony Entertainment Television’s Indian Idol Season 12 battle it out with their musical talents in a ‘Boys Vs Girls’ themed episode. One particular contestant in question, not only impressed the judges Anu Malik and Manoj Muntashir with his performance but, also caught the attention of a veteran cricketer. Mohd Danish who owned the stage with a hardcore performance on the song, ‘Lagan Lagi’ was on top of the world when he learnt that Vinod Kambli praised his performance.
The ace cricketer who took to social media to praise Mohd Danish said, “Loved the performance by Danish tonight in Indian Idol. That was one of my favourite songs and it seemed like it was Sukhwinder himself who was singing it. Hit right in the feels!”
Sharing his excitement Mohd Danish says, “I am truly overwhelmed and stoked to have received such a huge compliment from Vinod Kambli Sir. His kind words have really encouraged me and I promise to give my best with every performance. I will forever cherish this memory!”
