In her Instagram post, the actress described the incident, stating, “I, Sukirt (her husband), and Athang (son) were purchasing sky lanterns on the street when suddenly, a lady came from behind and grabbed Athang, pulling his cheeks forcefully. He became very scared and started crying, which is a natural reaction for a child of his age.”

Urmila continued, emphasizing the importance of recognizing “Stranger Danger.” She expressed her appreciation for the affection and love her fans have for her son, especially after featuring him in her videos. However, she strongly condemned the lady’s actions, which she found inappropriate and unsafe. Urmila highlighted that forcing a 25-month-old baby against his will, taking pictures without consent, and disregarding the child’s discomfort and tears are unacceptable behaviors.
