Producer Anand Pandit recently released the trailer of the much-awaited Kannada movie Kabzaa. The crime action film features Upendra Rao, Kiccha Sudeep, Shriya Saran and Shiva Rajkumar in the lead roles.
The lead actors recently flew to Mumbai and interacted with the media about the film. During the press meet, Upendra hinted at Kabzaa 2 while also talking about how the story might progress. Expressing gratitude for working with Shiva Rajkumar, popularly known as Shivanna, Upendra says, “I have worked with Shivanna as a director and as an actor. I am really lucky because Shivanna is such a legendary and such a sweetheart. He wanted to continue in the second part. I think so. Most probably Kiccha and Shivanna carry the second part.”
Shriya Saran immediately cuts in for damage control. She says, “My character dies or what? We don’t know the story of second part.“
Upendra then corrected himself and said, “Yes, we won’t know the story. He (director) is not telling us.”
Kabzaa is directed by R Chandru and produced by Anand Pandit. It will release in theatres on 17 March 2023.
