Upcoming Bollywood Movies 2023: Dunki, Tiger 3, Animal & More

2023 marked the release of some blockbuster Bollywood films like, “Jawan”, “Pathaan”, “Gadar 2” and others. While many films like “Dunki”, “Tiger 3”, and “Animal” among many other much-awaited films are currently in the queue. So without further ado let’s take a look at the top 10 highly anticipated and much-awaited upcoming Bollywood films in 2023.

1. Dunki

Directed by 3 Idiots director, Rajkumar Hirani, Dunki is an upcoming comedy-drama Bollywood film featuring superstar Shah Rukh Khan alongside Taapsee Pannu, Boman Irani, and others, while actor Vicky Kaushal will have a cameo in the film. Dunki will be released in theatres on 22 December 2023.

2. Tiger 3

Produced by Aditya Chopra and directed by Maneesh Sharma, Tiger 3 is the third installment of the franchise. Tiger 3 stars Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, and Emraan Hashmi in the lead roles. Tiger 3 will hit the theatres on 12 November 2023.

3. Emergency

Based on true events, Emergency is an upcoming biographical historical drama film directed and produced by Kangana Ranaut. Apart from directing and producing Kangana also plays the lead role in the film as Indira Gandhi. Apart from her the film also stars Anupam Kher, Milind Soman, Satish Kaushik, Mahima Chaudhry, Shreyas Talpade, and others. The film will be released in theatres on 24 November 2023.

4. Animal

Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Animal is an upcoming action thriller Bollywood film featuring actor Ranbir Kapoor alongside Rashmika Mandanna in the lead role. Apart from the two, the film also features Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor, Tripti Dimri, and others in significant roles. Bollywood film Animal is expected to hit the theatres on 1 December 2023.

5. Sam Bahadur

Directed by Meghna Gulzar, Sam Bahadur is a biographical war drama film based on the life of India’s first field marshal, Sam Manekshaw. The biopic stars Vicky Kaushal as Vicky Kaushal as Sam Manekshaw, Sanya Malhotra as Silloo Manekshaw, Fatima Sana Shaikh as Indira Gandhi, and Neeraj Kabi as Jawaharlal Nehru among others. Sam Bahadur will be released in theatres on 1 December 2023.

6. Merry Christmas

Directed by Sriram Raghavan, Merry Christmas is an upcoming Bollywood film starring South actor Vijay Sethupathi alongside actress Katrina Kaif in the lead roles. Apart from them the film also stars Radhika Apte, and Vinay Pathak among others. Merry Christmas will be released in theatres on 8 December 2023.

7. Yodha

Directed by Sagar Ambre, Yodha is an upcoming Bollywood action thriller film starring Sidharth Malhotra in the lead role alongside Disha Patani and Raashii Khanna. Produced by Karan Johar under Dharma Productions, the film is scheduled for theatrical release on 8 December 2023.

8. The Archies

The Archies is a musical drama set in the 1960s directed by Zoya Akhtar. It stars SRK’s daughter Suhana Khan, Boney Kapoor’s daughter Khushi Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda, Mihir Ahuja, Yuvraj Menda, Aditi Dot, and Vedang Raina. ‘The Archies’, will be released on the OTT platform, Netflix on 7th December 2023.
