Speaking about having suicidal thoughts, Meghan revealed to Oprah, “I just didn’t see a solution. I just didn’t want to be alive anymore”.

Furthermore, citing this as the “lack of support and understanding” as told and spoken by Prince Harry it was then that they both made a hard decision to leave UK which was announced back in January 2020.

They both earlier were planning to support the Queen Elizabeth II from Canada but after getting stripped of their royal titles along with no security and money as well they both moved to California in March where Tyler Perry opened up his Los Angeles home for them and also provided them with security and now the former royal couple who have inked lucrative deals with both streaming giants Netflix and Spotify reside in Santa Barbara, California with their 1 year old son Archie Harrison Mountbatten Windsor and also are expecting their second child which is a girl as revealed to Oprah.

During this tell all interview, the SUITS series fame Hollywood star and former duchess spoke honestly about her struggles that she faced before and the effects it had on her life.

Taking to her social media handle, Serena Williams wrote a totally heartfelt and supportive note to her bestfriend Meghan Markle saying that she’s really ‘proud’ of her sharing this truth regardless of all the hardships and obstacles faced by her.

After watching this entire interview, Serena Williams who attended Meghan’s wedding in 2018 and also gave her a baby shower in 2019 for their son Archie, took to her insta handle and wrote heartwarming words for her bestfriend in a post whose caption was, “Meghan Markle, my selfless friend, lives her life — and leads by example – with empathy and compassion. She teaches me every day what it means to be truly noble. Her words illustrate the pain and cruelty she’s experienced”.

Speaking about how she has also experienced the same as a fellow woman with media who is racist enough, she told, “I know first hand the sexism and racism institutions and the media use to vilify women and people of color to minimize us, to break us down and demonize us”.

She also went on to add, “We must recognize our obligation to decry malicious, unfounded gossip and tabloid journalism. The mental health consequences of systemic oppression and victimization are devastating, isolating, and all too often lethal”.

Captioning the post as being really proud of her friend, she wrote, “I am so proud of you for being so brave. I know it is never easy. You are strong- both you and harry. I love you. I adore you. Your friend S”.

She also wrote about wanting for their daughters to live in a society with respect and mentioned, “I want Meghan’s daughter, my daughter and your daughter to live in a society that is driven by respect”.

She concluded this written post by adding, “Keep in your memory the fruitage of spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faith, mildness, self-control. Against such things there is no law”.
