Sara Ali Khan had made an appearance of the Bollywood’s favorite chat show Koffee With Karan before her debut film- Kedarnath. Sara along with her father Saif Ali Khan graced Karan’s chat show. During the show, Sara Ali Khan confessed having a crush on Punchnama boy Kartik Aaryan. Sara went on to reveal that she would love to go on a date with him.
Moving forward, as Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan were working together in Rohit Shetty’s Simmba, the actor took it on himself to become their cupid. Eventually, during an award ceremony, Ranveer introduced Sara to her crush Kartik Aaryan. The video of which went viral on social media. Later the gossip town started to buzz with news of Sara and Kartik dating each other.
Currently, everyone knows that Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan are going to share the screen space for Imtiaz Ali’s Love Aaj Kal. Recently, during the promotions of Love Aaj Kal, Sara opened up that prior Ranveer Singh making the two meet, they both had actually met. Kedarnath actress then went on to share, “We kept up the lie to make Ranveer happy because he is a sweetheart.”
The Simmba actor doesn’t leave a chance to remind Kartik and Sara that they both met because of him. It is funny that all this while Ranveer believed that he played the cupid between the two, well now this piece of information might now hurt him.
On the work front, post Love Aaj Kal, Sara Ali Khan will be seen in David Dhawan’s Coolie No.1 alongside Varun Dhawan. Then Sara Ali Khan also has Atrangi Re in her kitty, in which she will be accompanied by Dhanush and Akshay Kumar. As for Kartik, he has two sequels lined up for him- Dostana 2 and Bhool Bhulaiya 2.
Talking about Love Aaj Kal, the film is slated to release on Valentine’s Day.
