Sai Pallavi Beaten Up Hard For Writing A Love Letter

Sai Pallavi recalls a funny anecdote from teenage during a chat with a Youtube channel

Telugu star Sai Pallavi made an interesting revelation about her school life. She recalled the time when she had written a love letter in school. She also disclosed how hard her parents had beaten her on finding out about the letter she had written to a boy. The actress was in 7th grade and could never made the courage to write a letter again in life.

Sai Pallavi is roped against Rana Daggubati in her latest film Virata Parvam. Her character in the film Vennela risks her life in an attempt to deliver a letter to Ravi by his mother. However, in real life, Sai wrote a love letter to a boy while she was in school but never tried to do it again after being scolded by parents.

In a chat show titled ‘My Village show’ by Netflix, the actress recalled the incident. She was questioned if the letters she wrote in the film were real or if she was acting. She replied, “In this film, I wrote them as per the director’s instructions. But in real life, I wrote a letter just once. I wrote a letter to a boy, it was in my childhood. Maybe when I was in my 7th standard. I was caught. My parents hit me hard, a lot.”

Her co-star Rana Daggubati recalled writing a letter to his grandfather in his childhood. The same question was asked to Rana and he replied that he wrote once in life to his late grandfather, filmmaker Daggubati Ramanaidu. In quotes, he said, “Well, I wrote one to my Grandfather in Karamchedu in my childhood. That was all. I didn’t write letters to anyone after that.”

Virata Parvam is streaming on Netflix from July 1 after failing to perform well in theaters. The Telugu period romantic action drama released on 17th June is directed by Venu Udugula and produced by Suresh Productions and SLV Cinemas. Pallavi’s next film this year is Gargi, set to hit big screens on 15th July.
