Ronnie Screwvala To Cast Kangana Ranaut In His Next As An Air Force Pilot

Kangana Ranaut will be playing the role of an Air Force Pilot in Ronnie Screwvala’s next film ‘Tejas’. The shooting for this film will begin in July.

In a recent interview, Kangana Ranaut spilled the beans on her upcoming film and confirmed being a part of Ronnie Screwvala‘s  ‘Tejas’. Kangana who has been part of many women-centric films namely Queen, Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, Revolver Rani, and many more has proved that a film can become a Box Office hit without having a male protagonist. And in Tejas, Kangana is all set to play the role of an Air Force Pilot.

Kangana expressed her joy by saying that she has been fascinated by the Armed Forces since her childhood. She is very excited about this film as she always wanted to play a soldier for she strongly feels about their heroism. Being said that the actress has never held back from expressing her emotions about the jawans of the country. She says that they keep our country safe.

Kangana also confirmed that they will start shooting for Tejas in July. And given the context of the film, Kangana has been advised to undergo extensive training to fit this complex role. The Queen actress also added that she has signed this film just two weeks ago and her director has decided to get professional trainers on board in order to train her.

The actress also asserted that it is high time that people start to acknowledge the contribution of women in the Armed Forces. Talking about the film, Kangana is elated to work with Ronnie Screwvala and director Sarvesh Mewara who have come up with such an empowering script to celebrate the heroism of our soldiers. Last but not least she ended the conversation on the note that she can’t wait to get uniformed and begin the shooting.
