Rakhi Sawant’s ex-husband Adil Khan Durrani was spotted by the paparazzi on Sunday. Adil is a businessman and married Rakhi in 2022 according to Islamic traditions. In February, Rakhi filed an FIR against him accusing him of fraud and assault. Adil was arrested and Rakhi also announced a divorce with him.
After six months, Adil is out of jail and has plans to share his side of the story. As he was spotted on Sunday, he said, “Bahut galat hua hai mere saath. Aaya hu bahut dino baad. Proper press conference karunga. Sab kuch bataunga. Ab to koi aake, jail me dalva ke publicity to le nahi sakta. Abhi mai bahar aaya hoon. Properly bataunga mere saath kya hua tha, kyun hua tha, kis vajah se hua tha.” (I have been wronged. I have come back now. I will hold a proper press conference. I will tell everything. Now nobody will come, put me in jail and gain publicity out of it. Now when I am out of jail, I will tell what happened with me and why it happened).
He further said, “Mere side ki proper story dunga ki mujhe kaise frame kiya tha in logon ne. Rakhi ne kiya tha aur uske saath aur kon logo the, kya hua tha- sab bataunga.” (I will tell my side of story and how I was framed by these people- Rakhi and some other people. I will tell who are these people).
When he was asked if he owes a crore rupees to Rakhi, Adil said, “Crore mujhe dene hai ya mujhe aane hai..ye bhi bataunga.” (Whether I have to pay crore rupees or I have to get it, I will tell that too).
Rakhi Sawant had accused Adil Durrani of assault, stealing money and jewellery from her flat. After her complaint in February, Adil was brought to the Oshiwara police station in Mumbai for questioning and was later placed under arrest.
