Rahul Roy Admitted In Hospital After Suffering Brain Stroke In Kargil

Best known for his mesmerizing performance in Mahesh Bhatt's Aashiqui (1990), Bollywood star Rahul Roy admitted in Mumbai's Nanavati hospital after suffering brain stroke whilst shooting for his web film in Kargil.

Actor Rahul Roy who is known for his role in films like Aashiqui (1990), Jaanam (1992), Sapne Saajan Ke (1992), Phir Teri Kahani Yaad Aayee and many more films in Bollywood also is a famous TV personality who won the first season of Bigg Boss i.e. Bigg Boss 1 (2006) which is an Indian adaptation of international famous TV reality show Big Brother that aired on Colors TV. This is surely a sad news update as the legendary film star Rahul Roy admitted in hospital after suffering brain stroke in Kargil.

Rahul rose to fame with his debut film Aashiqui (1990) and since then has never looked back. Presently this news is a mellow one for sure as Rahul Roy admitted in hospital after suffering brain stroke in Kargil.

Apparently Rahul was in Kargil shooting for a web film called L.A.C. – Live The Battle which also features Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega (Zee TV, 2018 – 2020) fame Bigg Boss 14 former contestant and dapper TV superstar Nishant Singh Malkani in lead role and is being produced by Chitra Vakil Sharma and Nivedita Basu. According to a leading Indian newspaper report, he was shooting for the film in Kargil when the incident took place. The report clearly indicated that Rahul suffered a brain stroke due to the extremely harsh weather conditions in that region. Post which, he was taken to Srinagar and then admitted in the ICU (Intensive Care Unit) of Mumbai’s Nanavati hospital.

This news was officially confirmed by Rahul’s brother Romeer, where he confessed about his brother Rahul’s ill health and then also told that as of now he is recovering. Speaking in detail with a leading Indian TV news channel, Romeer told, “He has been kept in the ICU as a precautionary measure. There is nothing to worry about”.

The report also clearly stated that the 52 year old bollywood actor also took a test for COVID 19 where he tested negative as per the result of his report.

The said news report also mentioned the fact that currently Rahul has completed shooting for the digital web film that also stars the dapper and suave TV superstar Nishant Singh Malkani in lead role and this film is based on a real life incident based on the famous Galwan Ghati in Kashmir. The film has been directed by Nitin Kumar Guptam and produced by both Chitra Vakil Sharma and Nivedita Basu.
