Phone Bhoot Box Office Collection Day 1: Katrina Kaif Starrer Off To A Low Start

Gurmmeet Singh's directorial Phone Bhoot failed to make decent earnings at the box office on its opening day.

Phone Bhoot Box Office Collection: Gurmmeet Singh’s much anticipated directorial Phone Bhoot starring Katrina Kaif, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Ishaan Khatter was released on 4th November alongside Janhvi Kapoor starrer Mili and Huma Qureshi and Sonakshi Sinha starrer Double XL. However, despite opening up to positive reviews from the netizens, the horror-comedy film started unexpectedly low at the box office on its opening day. Phone Bhoot is a horror comedy film starring Katrina Kaif, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Ishaan Khatter. While Katrina plays the role of a funky and cool ghost, Siddhant and Ishaan on the other hand will be seen playing the funny “ghost busters” in the horror-comedy film. The film also stars Jackie Shroff who will be essaying the role of the antagonist in the film.

The film received a positive response from the netizens after its release, however, as per the latest trade reports, it is now believed that despite opening up to positive reviews the film failed to earn decent earnings at the box office on its opening day. As per a Pinkvilla report, Katrina Kaif-Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ishaan Khatter starrer horror-comedy film have earned somewhere in between Rs 1.75 cr-Rs 2.25 crores. Although the film is expected to see a boost in its earnings over the weekend.

Katrina Kaif, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Ishaan Khatter’s much-anticipated horror-comedy film Phone Bhoot has hit the theatres on 4th November. The Gurmmeet Singh’s directorial will feature Katrina Kaif as a “ghost” while Siddhant and Ishaan will be seen as “ghostbusters”. Katrina Kaif, Ishaan Khattar, and Siddhant Chaturvedi’s film will be the second horror-comedy film this year after Kartik Aaryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.

Helmed by Gurmmeet Singh the horror flick is written by Ravi Shankaran and Jasvinder Singh Bath. The film is bankrolled by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani under the banners of Excel Entertainment.
