Nick Cordero Passes Away After Months Of Battling COVID-19 Infection

Broadway star Nick Cordero succumbed to death on Sunday, after months of battling the coronavirus infection. He was on a ventilator and mostly unconscious after being tested positive for COVID-19. Read below to know more.

The 41-year old Broadway star Nick Cordero passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2020. The actor was admitted to the hospital in the month of March after being tested positive for the COVID-19 infection. Post his diagnosis, Nick was on a ventilator and mostly unconscious. Cordero was also battling mini-strokes and leg amputation. The news of his passing away was shared by his wife Amanda Kloots on her Instagram handle.

Nick Cordero’s wife Amanda Kloots took to her Instagram to share a happy picture alongside a heartbreaking caption. She wrote, “God has another angel in heaven now. My darling husband passed away this morning. He was surrounded in love by his family, singing and praying as he gently left this earth.”

Amanda further added that she is in disbelief and hurting everywhere and she cannot imagine their lives without Nick. She wrote, “Nick was such a bright light. He was everyone’s friend, loved to listen, help and especially talk. He was an incredible actor and musician. He loved his family and loved being a father and husband. Elvis and I will miss him in everything we do, everyday.”

Amanda then thanked the doctors in the hospital for taking care of the late Broadway star. She praised the doctor who treated Nick by calling him a diamond in the rough for all the compassion and eagerness he showed in treating her late husband.

Three months back when Nick’s health started deteriorating because of the coronavirus, Amanda has asked everyone to pray for Nick and his speedy recovery. She also kept his fans and followers updated about his health.
