A few months ago, Sairat‘s director, Nagraj Manjule, announced his next flick, Ghar Banduk Biryani. Since then, his fans have been eagerly waiting for the announcement of the release date.
Finally Nagraj Manjule has announced the release date of his upcoming pan Indian film. Ghar Banduk Biryani is set to arrive in cinemas on March 30, 2023. Manjule shared the news today on social media.
Helmed by debutant Hemant Awatade, the multi-starrer film features Nagraj Manjule, Sairat fame Akash Thosar and Sayaji Shinde in pivotal roles. Along with playing one of the leads, Manjule also wrote the story screenplay and dialogues for the film.
Ghar Banduk Biryani is produced by Nagraj Manjule under the banners of Aatpat Productions and Zee Studios. The film will hit the big screen in Marathi, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
Makers had shared the film’s teaser on the auspicious occasion of Diwali last year. The teaser had garnered a lot of appreciation on social media.
Manjule’s last directorial venture was Jhund (2022), which starred Amitabh Bachchan in the lead.
