Punjabi girl Harnaaz Sandhu made India proud by winning the Miss Universe 2021 crown at the 70th Miss Universe pageant held in Israel. She became the third Indian woman to win this title after Sushmita Sen (1994) and Lara Dutta (2000). Most pageant winners make their way into Bollywood and Sushmita Sen, Lara Dutta, Aishwarya Rai, Priyanka Chopra and Dia Mirza are some of the names to mention. And therefore, people are curious to know if Harnaaz has similar plans.
When asked about her Bollywood plans, Harnaaz said, “It’s too soon to describe how my future will look. But being an actor already, I am looking forward to working in Bollywood. Let’s hope for the best.”
Harnaaz, who has done theatre for five years, said, “Acting has always been my passion. I want to inspire people through acting.”
Harnaaz said that her favourite male actor is Shahrukh Khan while the female actress she likes the most is Deepika Padukone.
Harnaaz also revealed that her favourite director is Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
Apart from acting, Harnaaz said that she loves singing and gardening.
