Marvel Studios Head Praises Robert Downey Jr For Creating The Marvel Universe

Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige and director Jon Favreau say the MCU would be nothing without Robert Downey Jr.

Since the premiere of Iron Man, starring Robert Downey Jr., 15 years ago, Marvel Studios has grown into an empire. During a trip down memory lane, Kevin Feige, the head of Marvel Studios, and Jon Favreau, the filmmaker, discussed the period when Robert was cast in the part of Iron Man and shaped history.

For every actor, the success of their breakthrough film brings a new perspective and a change in life. Throwback to when RDJ was chosen for the role of Iron Man: the same thing happened to him. Because of him alone, Marvel fans have watched and rewatched his franchise as well as the Avengers films up until this point.

Kevin Feige recalled the history of Marvel Studios on the official Marvel Entertainment YouTube channel and stated that he remembered later films. We’ll talk about them on the 15th anniversary of those dark days. We wouldn’t be in this situation if it weren’t for you, I would tell Robert, implying that we wouldn’t have a studio. Or you,” bringing up Jon Favreau, the Iron Man films’ director.

Jon Favreau continued by saying that he remembers sitting down with Robert and being like, “He just got it.” He has that spark in him and in his eyes, and he is ready. Robert Downey Jr. changed the path of Jon’s life and made it easier once he won the part. He felt his life was much easier now that it was just him.

Ever since Marvel started in 2008, the craze among people has been increasing. Every year, series and movies get the expected response from the audience.
