Mamta Kulkarni On Her Experiences Of Working With Govinda, Aamir Khan, Saif Ali Khan & Others

Mamta Kulkarni outlined Govinda as a complete actor. She said that she learned a lot about acting from Govinda & Aamir Khan.

Karan Arjun actress Mamta Kulkarni had a very colourful journey in her cinematic career. The 52-year-old actress has shared the screen with many actors and thus, she collected a treasure of professional experiences in her career. Mamta worked with Aamir Khan, Bobby Deol, Atul Agnihotri, Saif Ali Khan, Suneil Shetty, Akshay Kumar, Salman Khan, Govinda and others. In an exclusive interview with Lehren, the actress shared her experiences of working with these actors.

Mamta and Saif Ali Khan worked together in the film ‘Aashiq Awara’ and he won the Filmfare best debut for the film. While working with him, Mamta felt that he had the potential to work better and better. She said, “Mujhe tabhi laga tha iss ladake mein potential hai.” In ‘Waqt Hamara Hai’ she worked as a female lead against Suniel Shetty and that was indeed a good experience for her. They both had “fine tuning” between them, she added.

Apart from all these actors, Govinda is really special to Mamta. “Chichi is a very brilliant actor. I mean if I say anything less people will hit me,” she quipped. She outlined him as a “Complete Actor”. Mamta and Govinda appeared together in the films ‘Kismat’ and ‘Naseeb’. Govinda used to observe her during every shot just to see whether she was doing it correctly, whether she was involved. Mamta learned many things from Govinda by collecting the plus and minus points of his shots. Furthermore, she said, “Chichi is like a school for me.”

Mamta shared the screen with Aamir Khan in the movie ‘Baazi’. She lauded her costar, saying “the most perfectionist, he is involved with every minute detail”.
