Tom Hiddleston, fondly known as Loki from Avengers will star in Netflix's Political Thriller 'White Stork'

Tom Hiddleston is all set to play the role of James Cooper in Netflix political thriller series – White Stork. The series was previously named ‘Spadehead.’

White Stork is about the paradox of truth in a post-truth world, according to a news portal. The British drama series is backed by the company Eleven that is also affiliated with Netflix hit show Sex Education.

The British show has been created, written and executive produced by Christopher Dunlop and directed by Kristoffer Nyholm. The series is expected to have 10 episodes for its first season.

The series revolves around the characted James Cooper (portrayed by Tom Hiddleston). Cooper is selected to run for a seat in the parliament, while Asher Millan does a background check on him. She ends up finding deep and dark secrets from his past that could ruin everything from his career and marriage to the powerful people backing him for his campaign.

Hiddleston is a Golden Globe winner as well as an Emmy Nominee for British limited series The Night Manage. His show Loki (the God of Mischief) on Disney plus, where he portrays the Marvel character, is rumoured to air in 2021.
