Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan starrer ‘Zara Hatke Zara Bachke’ is all set to hit theatres on June 2, 2023. This story is about a couple who are pretending to get divorced so that their future will be fine. Vicky and Sara are busy promoting the film and were recently seen at the IPL stadium. While the film is based on a married couple, the audience would have loved to see Vicky and Katrina Kaif together on screen. However, this did not happen, and director Laxman has a reason for this.
In a recent conversation, Laxman Utekar was asked about the same question: why did they not cast Katrina Kaif? On this, he made a joke about how he could only collaborate with her if she could not speak his language. According to him, the personality and aura of the daughter-in-law from a middle-class joint family are incompatible. Revealing the reason he felt Katrina wasn’t the ideal match for ‘Zara Hatke Zara Bachke.’
He said, “The film is in a different space, and he feels Katrina Kaif ka jo aura hai and personality hai, mujhe personally laga nahi ki voh ek middle-class joint family ki bahu lag sakti hai. Agar future mein aisa kuch banega joh usko suit hoga toh mein jarur uske sath collaborate karunga.
Meanwhile, the rom-com will also star Inaamulhaq, Rakesh Bedi, and others who will play pivotal roles in the film. The audience has already loved the songs and trailer.
