Kit Harrington announced that he is expecting his second child with his wife Rose Leslie. The “Game of Thrones” stars, played the role of lovers on screen and while spending time together they blossomed feelings for each other and got married. The couple has a two-year-old son and During Kit’s appearance on “The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon”, he confirmed that his wife is pregnant with their second child and he was both terrified and excited at the same time.
While talking about his son with the host of the show Jimmy Fallon, he said “He’s about to get the shock of his life, which is that he’s about to get a brother or sister”, to which Jimmy replied, “Are you serious? Pregnant?”. To Which Kit confirmed that his wife is pregnant, Jimmy shook his hand and congratulated him on the good news.
Talking about the challenges of having a second baby Kit said “I’m terrified,” the actor added. “You know, with the first baby you’re like walking on clouds and dancing through fields of daisies for nine months — well, the man is anyway. But this time, the reality check comes much shorter. You get practical real quick.”
When Fallon asked about the reaction of his son on the news of getting a sibling Kit said he does not think his son has “quite conceptually understood it just yet”.
While talking about his son on the show and how smart he is considering his age Kit said “We’re like, we’re not sure quite where that’s come from … He likes applause. Every time he does something good, we give him applause, and we’re worrying that’s kind of pushing him towards acting. We’re a bit like, ‘Eh, you might be too smart for this. Go save the word, we’re sick, we had no choice.”
Kit and Rose met while shooting for “Game of Thrones”, they played the roles of lovers, but their relationship did not last for long in the series. They developed feelings for each other, they were spotted during a red carpet outing in 2016. In June 2018 they married each other in Scotland in Kirkton of Rayne church.
