Kim Kardashian talked about drama with Kanye West on the latest episode of The Kardashians. In the episode, Kim explained to her elder sister, Kourtney Kardashian how Kanye controlled her fashion choices while they were married. Kim explained, “I got to a point where I would ask his advice for everything down to what I wear. Even now I’m having panic attacks, like what do I wear?”
The SKIMS founder further shared that Kanye styled her for her Saturday Night Live hosting debut in October 2021 but she wore an outfit of her choice for WSJ. Magazine 2021 Innovator Awards, which was held a few weeks later. Kim admitted to Kourtney that she was nervous since it was a big deal for her that she chose her own outfit. Kim wore a Skims x Fendi brown leather dress and matching gloves to the event. Kim said to her sister, “I was like, ‘How do I wear something that hasn’t been pre-vetted first?'”
However, Kanye did not approve of her selection. Kim recalled, “He called me afterwards. He told me my career’s over and then he showed me a picture of Marge Simpson wearing something similar.” Kim also shared on the same episode of The Kardashians that Kanye took a long time to sign divorce papers. Kim confessed, “I’m always super protective of Kanye and not sharing a lot of the negative things that have happened just because he’s not here doing the show.”

The businesswoman added, “Also if I do something on a reality show then it’s like, ‘How dare she talk about it.’ And then he can do a song that’s so creative and expressive. It’s always two different sides that are being expressed in two different ways. One is respected and one is not.” Additionally, Kim told Kourtney that she is very sure about her decision to divorce Ye. She shared, “I knew it had to be done when I filed because I knew it wasn’t the right situation for me. And now I feel super good.”
Currently, Kim is dating the Saturday Night Live star, Pete Davidson. They met on the sets of SNL when Kim hosted a show in October 2021 and have been dating ever since. Kim filed for divorce from West in February 2021 and she was legally single in 2022. She has also removed ‘West’ from her last name. Meanwhile, Kanye West is dating Chaney Jones. The Yeezy designer and Jones first sparked romance rumours in February, and she later confirmed their relationship by posting photos on her social media.
