Adam Lallana who scored at the last moment rescued a 1-1 draw for Liverpool against Manchester United at  Old Trafford on Sunday and ensured they stayed unbeaten in the Premier League. This draw left Liverpool six points ahead on the table ahead of last season’s champions Manchester City.

On being asked if the results were good for the Reds, Klopp was seen quickly criticizing them and took a jab at United’s defensive tactics. Klopp stated it was just a point and revealed that he’d been in England, Man United have pretty much set up like this. He further revealed. “Everyone built it up (the game) like a mountain, but one team set out to defend and one team made the game. We didn’t lose anything, it’s just a point. Let’s carry on.”

But with Klopp’s comment left ex-Manchester United’s manager Jose Mourinho furious who clapped back the Liverpool manager. He said, “He didn’t like the menu. He likes meat and got fish, so of course, he’s not happy. United with the limitations they have played a different profile of performance. They were always compact.”

Mourinho on being asked went wrong for Liverpool on Sunday, he said, “Quality of the team to play against a low block, which is a sometimes a problem they have. I’m really happy they didn’t win because the other record is mine, not theirs. Jurgen clearly has a little bit of frustration. At Old Trafford, which is a special place for Liverpool to win, he never did it.”
