Salman Khan’s forthcoming film Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali is the talk of the town for numerous reasons. Lately, we reported that Aayush Sharma walked out of the ensemble cast of Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali due to creative differences. Not only that his co-actor of the film Zaheer Iqbal also made an exit. Allegedly, in addition to the extended cast of the film, Jagapathi Babu gets on board.

On the casting front, the team is becoming more prominent and finer with each passing day. According to our previous reports, Abhimanyu Dassani and Meezaan Jafri are foreseen to substitute Aayush Sharma and Zaheer Iqbal. Salman aiming to make Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali a big hit leaves no stone unturned and is doing everything possible. For the action-comedy of the year, our Dabbang guy has signed Jagapathi Babu after bringing Venkatesh on board.

Jagapathi Babu Joins Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali

Jagapathi Babu is a well-known face in the Telugu industry and the makers couldn’t think of any other actor for the role of antagonist in this biggest masala entertainer. For those who are unaware, Jagapathi Babu was linked to join Dabangg 3 but for some unknown reasons, things didn’t materialize. However, when Salman approached the supposed-to-be villain of the film, he immediately agreed to take the role.

A source close to the actor said: “Salman Khan is making a pan-India film and is leaving no stone unturned on the casting front. He sat down with his team and has hand-picked the actors of his choice. The first to be locked on the film was Pooja Hegde, followed by his close friend, Venkatesh. And now, Salman has got another actor from the Telugu industry on board and it’s none other than Jagapathi Babu.”

The same source suggests due to date issues Salman and Jagapathi couldn’t come along for Dabangg 3. He later added: “And now, when Salman offered him this role, he instantly came on board. The team wanted an ideal villain in the film to fight Salman and Venkatesh, and there’s no one better than Jagapathi to do that.”

The Telugu hero Jagapathi will move to Hyderabad in June to start filming his role in Farhad Samji directorial. Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali is slated to release in December and stars Salman Khan, Pooja Hegde, Venkatesh, Jagapathi Babu, Shehnaaz Gill, Jassie Gill, Raghav, Siddharth Nigam, and Malvika Sharma.
