She will sit in the chairs of the judges with boyfriend Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson, and John Legend. Gwen is replacing season 18 judge Nick Jonas.

Gwen and Blake met each other on the show where they started their love story. In 2014 Gwen joined The Voice as a coach alongside Blake for the first time. They were still just friends and at the time married Gavin Rossdale and Miranda Lambert.

Both had originally kept their relationship very secret after their splits. The couple did not make their first red carpet appearance until after-party at the 2016 Vanity Fair Oscars. It’s been a lovefest for Gwen and Blake ever since. They are happy, and they are in love. We were not going to get it any other way.

Season 18 of The Voice was mainly shot at home due to the continuing pandemic of coronavirus. Blake and Gwen were quarantined together during The Voice in Oklahoma and even appeared in the final together.

From the very first season, Blake has been a coach on The Voice. Gwen was a coach for the 7, 9, 12, and 17 seasons. Gwen was the celebrity advisor to Team Blake in season 10. Gwen will surely have her eye on the finalist in season 19. She has never won The Voice while Blake has the highest number of wins at seven. His singer, Todd Tilghman, won Season 18 in recent times.
