George And Amal Clooney Donate More Than 1 Million To COVID-19 Relief

George Clooney And his wife Amal donates more than $1 million to COVID-19 relief.

George and Amal Clooney join the list of celebrities who have generously donated in the coronavirus relief efforts. Reportedly, the couple has donated total $250,000 each to the Motion Picture and Television Fund, the SAG-AFTRA Fund, and Los Angeles Mayor’s Fund, they have also donated $300,000 to three international charities, the Lebanese Food Bank, Lombardo Italy Region, and the UK’s National Health Service.

These charities are dealing with various issues from the global Coronavirus outbreak for which they need a large sum of money in order to work efficiently. As Amal is both British and Lebanese, their donation to the Lebanese Food Bank and the National Health Service are personal. Their donation to the Lombardo Italy Region will help local hospitals, as they have a house in the region.

Apart from Clooney’s, Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively have also donated more than $1 million to COVID-19 relief to the Feeding America and Food Banks Canada.

Leonardo DiCaprio, Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, Paris Hilton, Cardi B, Oprah Winfrey, Dolly Parton, Emilia Clarke are few other Hollywood biggies who came in forward and extended their support to help the Coronavirus affected.
