Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone are gearing up for their upcoming movie ‘Fighter,’ set to release next year in January. Ahead of its release, the film’s makers unveiled a teaser that received an enthusiastic response from audiences.
The teaser hints at a substantial budget for the movie, and film critic Kamaal Rashid Khan has revealed intriguing details about the film’s finances and the stars’ fees. According to his tweet, the movie was crafted with a budget of Rs 350 crore. Director Siddharth Anand charged Rs 40 crore, Hrithik’s fee is Rs 85 crore, while Deepika’s fee is Rs 20 crore. Other members of the star cast earned Rs 15 crore.
The journey of ‘Fighter’ from inception to the big screen faced challenges, notably due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Delays during the pre-production phase pushed the initial release date from September 2022 to January 25, 2024, coinciding with the Republic Day weekend.
